A tragic accident occurred on Panj Pir Manawan Road in Khushab district, Punjab, resulting in the death of 14 individuals and injuring 12 others. The incident involved a Mazda truck that fell into a ditch.
Cause of the Accident
According to Rescue 1122, the truck, traveling from Bannu to Naushera, experienced a brake failure, leading to the crash. District Rescue Officer Hafiz Abdul Rasheed confirmed the cause and provided updates on the victims.
Response and Aftermath
Rescue teams provided on-site medical aid to four individuals with minor injuries, while eight seriously injured people were transported to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Naushera. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his condolences and wished for the swift recovery of the injured.
