Faisalabad traders have sent a notice of Rs10 billion to Dr Affan Qaiser for making video regarding adding red color through injection in watermelon.

Dr. Affan Qaiser had raised the issue of “adulterated watermelons” in a recent video, he told in the video how fraudsters fill the injection with unhealthy red color and insert it into the watermelons and the public accepts it as a sign of the sweetness of the fruit.
A few days later, Dr. Qaiser released another video in which he supported his claims with online articles and clarified that he never blamed the farmers.
According to a private website, traders in Faisalabad have filed a complaint against Dr. Afan at the Ghulam Muhammad police station.

The complaint states that Dr. Afan’s statement caused panic and led to billions of rupees in losses for traders and landowners.
