According to agency sources, the parties are finalizing the terms of the agreement on the use of ChatGPT chatbot functions in a future update of the iOS 18 operating system.
The tool will be integrated with the gadget’s new artificial intelligence features, which Apple will announce in June, anonymous insiders say.
The company has also approached Google and its parent company Alphabet about licensing the Gemini chatbot. The negotiations are currently at the discussion stage.
