New Delhi_ The widely admired sitcom ‘Taarak, Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has been a fan favorite on the TV screen. The latest to make news is that Munmun Dutta who is playing the character of Babita Ji, and Raj Anadkat, previously known for his role as Tappu, have decided to step up in their relationship. Munmun Dutta’s Surprising Engagement
A very informative report by the site News18 Showsha has said this, Munmun of 36 years and Raj, merely at 27, did the ring exchange in an intimate ceremony happening earlier in Gujarat this month. Their families attended this.
Rumors about this couple’s togetherness were going around for quite a while, with some sources letting out that their families had already accepted their bond. A birdie pretty, close to the actors provided News18 with this snippet, “They got engaged a few days ago. Shook hands on it in Vadodara (Gujarat), as it turns out. Munmun and Raj’s families, you see, had no odd feelings about this relationship, they were there for the ceremony even!”
The same source added more to the unfolding love story, “They started dating, umm, around when Raj joined Taarak Mehta. It’s, like, pretty obvious. All the people on set knew this. Some folks were convinced that Munmun and Raj had decided to get married eventually. So, them getting engaged now is so not a shocker.”
By the way, notwithstanding all the reports, neither Raj nor Munmun has publicly agreed to their engagement. Also, the details of their future wedding are to be revealed. They urged fans to refrain from speculating about their love story earlier!
